Disable borders with dark accent colours

When I use dark accent colours, windows add 1px white border around elements, can this be disabled?

I don't think you can, and I wonder why you'd want to.
Without that little one pixel border, you wouldn't be able to tell the tabs... apart.
Maybe I'm not understanding the problem, but in your picture, it looks like there are "tabs".
Wouldn't you want them marked with a border?

Maybe if you provided a better screenshot. One that shows the entire window, where those "tabs" are?
There may be a setting in whatever program that is... to deal with those... "borders"?

The more information we can get from your screenshots... the easier it is for us to help you.
Remember... everyone uses different Personalizations, so a fragment of a screenshot, doesn't always provide enough information.

Most likely, that would be a Chrome setting, (if it's even possible).
For example... I have Firefox set to look like this. But this was done only with Firefox settings...





The only part I set from within Windows, was the title bar.
Ofc, the dark mode in the forums was set with the forum's settings.

It looks to me like the authors of Chrome decided that with tabs that were near enough in color to the background... they would add a border so users could differentiate. When the colors are dis-similar enough... no border is needed.

The point here... is that what you're looking for is most probably a Chrome setting, not a Windows setting.
Unfortunately... I don't use Chrome, so I don't know where that setting would be.




Now if this was Firefox... I might know... Cause I've been playing with that for a while.

Thank you so much, now I realised its a Chrome thing, I fixed it using a theme "Material Incognito Dark Theme"
Looks clean enough!
