Hello,

I have a domain controller with Windows Server 2016

Do I need to disable Microsoft Defender on machines that are in the domain however when creating a GPO I only have the option Windows Defender Antivirus I don't have the new option Microsoft Defender Antivirus(Windows 10 1903).

The above setting does not work on Windows 10 machines that are up to date.

would there be any way that I can disable Microsoft Windows Defender on all computers through the Domain Controller?

Thanks.

I was just reading and don't have a solution but noticed the questions involving Microsoft Defender Antivirus(Windows 10 1903). I'd think there shouldn't be anything left on the computers running 22H2 [second half 2022] concerning Version 1903 from March 2019. The current name of that app [on Win11 Pro 22H2] is Windows Security.
