Windows 11 (NTLITE optimized)
I am all for seeing what I can do for extra performance and after looking around for the past few days on the web there was no before and after results from this being done.

Yes I know the major risks the average user would have in disabling this but I have not had a virus/malware/or any infection for an extremely long time(Don't even run a antivirus)

Now this isn't something people should do so I am going to do it for geeky science to actually see if any benefit is there.

I probably won't see much if any change in gaming or general usage so I will be benching it to see if any numbers improve(CPU/RAM) to be thorough.

The system will be running for 10 minutes before each test with updates, other programs and screen saver shut off before starting.

Will post the results here if everyone to see once finished.

Having some interesting results coming out of this tweak with bench marks. Going to have to take a bit longer for testing to see why that is. Nothing game changing but looking forward to revealing the results.

I had to test and retest and even retest again to see if this was a fluke. Apparently not! Let me remind you all that my system is an AMD 8350 with GSkill DDR3 ram.

No change(or not worth noting) for the cpu. Didn't expect anything there to be honest but checked just to be through.

Doesn't make any sense so I got my sister's husband to do the test and the results were just in the 15 to 20 improvement. His system is a top of the line Ryzen processor with DDR 5.Seems like older systems benefit the most of disabling DEP for some reason.

The number improvement even higher isn't all that noticeable but from what it was to what it is now is much higher then expected.

That's not Ryzen 7000 so no DDR5. Main question is why would DEP have any influence in running appčications except eventually while starting them ?

Interesting, I disable mitigations for Spectre to improve performance, but I was not expecting DEP to affect any?

My thoughts are it's always checking for any inconsistencies in the programming code when any code is ran. Once ran if no changes then it stops but if changes then starts back up again.

Newer ram has nil to no affect in DEP on or off to a point it's not detected. Faster traffic across probably solves the problem.

This is all in my opinion and a guess as to why.

Looking at your system probably not.
