- Windows 11 Pro Version 25H2 (OS Build 26200.8655)
On June 9th, I received an update from Windows, installing Windows Update 2026-06 Security Update (KB5094126) (26200.8655). Afterward, I tried to calibrate my NEC editing monitor with my X-Rite (or eye-one) USB sensor, which I have been using for years. The computer sees the sensor in the Device Manager, but the app does not recognize the sensor, when it is plugged in. A bit after that, I tried to use my USB flatbed Epson scanner, and that app couldn't recognize the Epson scanner, either. It dawned on me that it might be the Windows update, so I uninstalled it, and then my flatbed scanner started working again. However, the X-Rite sensor is still not recognized and still not working. The driver is in my System32 folder, and appears to be signed, and I cannot find a new driver online for the X-Rite sensor. Does anyone know of a quick fix for this? Thanks.
