Windows 11 Pro Version 25H2 (OS Build 26200.8655)
On June 9th, I received an update from Windows, installing Windows Update 2026-06 Security Update (KB5094126) (26200.8655). Afterward, I tried to calibrate my NEC editing monitor with my X-Rite (or eye-one) USB sensor, which I have been using for years. The computer sees the sensor in the Device Manager, but the app does not recognize the sensor, when it is plugged in. A bit after that, I tried to use my USB flatbed Epson scanner, and that app couldn't recognize the Epson scanner, either. It dawned on me that it might be the Windows update, so I uninstalled it, and then my flatbed scanner started working again. However, the X-Rite sensor is still not recognized and still not working. The driver is in my System32 folder, and appears to be signed, and I cannot find a new driver online for the X-Rite sensor. Does anyone know of a quick fix for this? Thanks.

See if temporarily disabling the driver block list helps.

You may have to disable Core Isolation from the Windows Security Center. Older drivers can also fail the more stringent security checks that are applied today, regardless of whether they're tagged vulnerable or not.
