I am having an issue with booting into windows on a cloned drive the cloned drive is a sata SSD it's a WDC drive. I noticed when I turn off RST in my bios it works with AHCI but when I turn on rapid storage it doesn't work . I am not sure if this is because I have the most recent SATA drivers you posted or if it is the chipset. I also updated the firmware and bios recently and it reset my settings. Is there anyway to make my pc boot into my SATA SSd without having the AHCI on and keep on Rapid storage driver ? I am confused as to why it puts me in a loop when it boots and won't let me boot from it .. I also have a lot of outdated stuff. Can you tell me what to delete . Thanks .

oh also my motherboard is z590 rog strix

Hi,

If you don't plan to do a RAID, do not enable Intel Rapid Storage Technology in your BIOS.

About your outdated drivers or unsuitable for your system, you can delete these ones with red dot :

KXc7dxa.png

JaPFheO.png

Note : Be aware that the automatic selection of old unused drivers in Driver Store Explorer does not apply to the Storage controllers drivers & System devices drivers for safety reasons (to avoid any situation where a system start is no longer possible), so for these drivers categories the removal of old unused drivers must be done manually and only if you know exactly what you are doing.

MoKiChU, I wasn't looking for the driver named: mewmiprpov.inf. Anyway, after a DSE cleanup, I reinstalled the IME with the updated mewmiprpov.inf driver, however the version doesn't reflect the version you recently posted. It's still the old version.

Hi,

No, when a component of a drivers package is updated, I do not indicate the component version, I indicate the main drivers package version in which the component is packaged/related. If you want to see the updated component version, always refer to the first post of the thread (in this case it's the WMI SWC Driver : 2303.4.2.0 WHQL)
