[DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx & Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx)

Hi everyone,

Armoury Crate was not detecting the installation of your audio drivers package, this is now fixed.

Redownload your audio drivers package then directly follow your UPDATE process.
Yes i can confirm!

Hey MoKiChU,

First of all thanks for your work with the drivers. And yes, I'm from Germany and the google translator must help me . I installed all your drivers and they work perfectly. Just not the audio driver. Why is it so important that I uninstall and clean up the old incl. Control/Console and DTS:X Ultra before?
I installed the 6.0.9244.1 (from ASUS Hompage) incl. the Control/Console + DTS:X Ultra an the updates for this come through the MS Store.

I think I could also go into device manager, update my Realtek(R) Audio driver and select your folder. I don't use DTS:X Ultra anyway.

Hi,

I only offer OEM original drivers, WHQL signed by Microsoft, so my audio drivers packages can update (or be updated by) the audio drivers packages from your motherboard support page by directly following your UPDATE process or by updating manually your audio drivers from Device Manager (but you can't install/update your extension drivers from Device Manager, and if you use Armoury Crate, it does not detect an audio drivers installation performed from Device Manager), without following your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process.

If I told to new people on my audio drivers threads to follow their CLEANUP process then their INSTALL process, it is in order to start from a clean base (I don't know what kind of audio drivers they tried previously, WHQL or not, before coming to my audio drivers threads).

OK, that makes sense.

What do you mean by "extension drivers"? The "ThirdParty" in your RAR? I have DTS in the device manager and can update the driver.........

And I don't use Armory Crate.

long story short. Can I just install your driver?

I talk about both, Realtek and third party extension drivers. The extension drivers are the drivers that allow the installation of the SWC drivers, they also contain the settings specific to your motherboard type and the users licenses for your third party products built-in.

The extension drivers (all, not only concerning your audio drivers), are not visible in your Device Manager, use Driver Store Explorer to see them.

long story short. Can I just install your driver?

Of course, just follow your UPDATE process, it will be the equivalent than updating manually your drivers from Device Manager but it will also update your extension drivers.

Is there another place I can download Realtek Audio Control and DTS Custom for ASUS? MS Store seems to be having issues for me at the moment and I can't download these apps.

Was the Realtek Audio Control app pulled from the Microsoft store? Omg, where do I download this app from now?

Edit: The download finally worked while I was trying to submit the error to MS Store! Honestly not sure why it began working again.

Hello @MoKiChU

I have updated to the new version of 3/28 and I have the problem with spatial sound. I set it to Dolby ATmos and it works fine. but it is to restart/turn off the pc and it is automatically deactivated or the Windows Sonic Headphones mode is put on and I have to keep changing it.

I've tried cleaning and reinstalling and still the same.

I install the driver Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME RTK) Is it correct?

Do you know what could be happening? I would like the settings to remain saved as in previous versions.

Thanks greetings

Hi,

You tried to install an incorrect drivers package for your motherboard.

You have an ASUS TUF DTS Custom motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTS Custom) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Hello

Whoops I was wrong, I thought it was the basic one.. on the Asus website it doesn't say anything about DTS Custom, so I thought it was the normal one.. What did you look at, what is DTS Custom if it doesn't say on the official page nothing in regards?

I'm going to try the new driver to see if the problem is solved.

Thank you

I noticed that in the latest driver release...9499 it now added an entry in Apps/Programs and Features. Historically, I've only seen this for HDA driver versions. Are these still UAD?
