Sold a PC on eBay, the guy is now saying its now blue screened & doesn't have any post/bios activity.
He has admitted to installing bootloaders, clover & opencore and installing his own OS and running from an external SSD.

The way eBay are saying he can return it within the time period as it's not working.

Kinda pissed off with this, I'll stop selling on there now 🤬

The PC does POST so I cannot even get to the BIOS​

The customer, the buyer, is always right. eBay is good at selling to a massive audience but this has to be balanced against the risk. Does the buyer have a good reputation score?

If you have proof (as in his postings) that he hosed the system, what's the issue?

Have you actually spoken with eBay about the issue?

Yeah, he said so in a message, I showed it to eBay on messenger and they still said if it's not working he's every right to send it back.
I said even though he admitted to loading all the bootloaders and knackered it, they said yes.
He's had it about 4 weeks now

I've seen some sellers indicate returns are not possible on certain items. Wondering if the OP could have done that?

Anyway, I've had an e-bay account for 20+ years, though I've not yet sold anything. Bought plenty, but never Electonics or PCs.
