I turned the laptop off for about 2 hours this morning. Turned it on about 2 hours ago. - this was at the bottom right above the clock. Is there a fix for this? Maybe in: Virus & Threat > Notifications? thx.

To stop Microsoft Defender scan pop-ups while keeping your device protected, open the Windows Security app, go to Virus & threat protection settings, click Change notification settings, and turn off non-critical scan result alerts.

I don't find any such setting in my Defender options either. Win 1 Home up to date.

On the left side of the window, look down at the bottom for the gear (Settings) icon.

Click on that, and in the Notifications section, click on the Manage notifications link.
