critical_process_died running macrium backup to external 2TB HDD

I get this every time I start a Macrium backup to an external 2TB HDD. Backup runs for a couple minutes then I get this. I do not get a dmp file. Would it still be worthwhile running the V2 log collector then uploading the collected files and posting a link here?
