Solved Edge also opens when I open Firefox

For some reason Edge has also started to open a New Tab when I open Firefox. This started today after I installed Bing Wallpaper, but contiues after I have unistalled Bing Wallpaper. I have tried to rectify the situation by following instructions to change the search permissions, but nothing is working.

See if you accidentally installed a Firefox add-on, which may have gotten installed with Bing Wallpaper, which opens Edge as well.

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunatly it didn't work. I think I've managed to resolve the situation by uninstalling Firefox and re-installing. That didn't have any effect initially, but when I created a new profile the problem went away. It looks like something (no idea what) associated with the old profile was the problem.
