I have been having issues with EDGE since I went on Win 11, when I sync EDGE, Firefox stops working. Since I have no use for EDGE I have removed all cookies, Passwords and will not use it. I use Firefox but have had EDGE as my Default. I have reported this to The EDGE team as the HUB does not deal with it.

Never cared for Edge from the get-go!

Do you sync Edge and Firefox with the same credentials?

Any idea, how to hide extension icons? I wanted to hide the new extensions button, but instead it enabled all icons.

EDIT: Nevermind, I have found it. One more useless icon. :cautious:

Tried using it for months... and it randomly crashes even tho i closed it properly??

also the sync, doesnt have ability to make it "sync now" the problem is it doesnt sync immediately and no way to know if it is currently syncing cause the only thing it says is : "setting up sync"

lost several tabs and collections in the process thinking it already synced. :mad:

It never crashed for me, not once. The crash might be caused by other software, extension, etc.

It syncs instantly, so again some software, extension or 3rd party privacy setting is preventing you from sync.

hmmm... that could be.

although i never had issues specially with syncing on other browsers with the same, even more extensions enabled compared to edge.

MS is special, it depends on services and windows settings for sync, I had the same issue, when I was blocking telemetry.

Import them into another browser is how I would do it.

Otherwise the file is located at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\{PROFILE NAME}\Bookmarks - which is definitely not a friendly file, but is just text, so pretty easy to read.

But I assume that you already know this.

I want to access synced favorites, since Edge is useless on android, it can not play background videos, it even pauses them on desktop.

Well personally Edge has had zero issues for me. However I have heard many businesses and personal friends of mine hate the browser with a passion. I just think it gets a bad rep...

I'll say this - Microsoft has done very, very well with integrating actually usable features into Chromium, even some that I wished Chrome had for a very long time. I'm always gonna be a Fx guy as long as Fx is around, but Edge has taken over Chrome as my second go to browser.

But Tairiku is correct, on Android, as he said, Edge is probably the wrost of all the major browser offerings. I really don't even like Chrome all that much on Android - I use DDG's privacy browser, but Firefox Focus is almost as good on Android.
