Solved Edge stable 114.0.1823.55 x64 hesitates loading pages


I am also stuck on end number "51", none of my six Windows machines a mixture of Windows 10 and 11 will update to "55". I have tried downloading Microsoft Edge from the Microsoft site, no difference.
I also reverted my drive to the beginning of June and again it only gets as far as "51". I don't think "55" had any security updates.

best to stay with the .51 build. don't update to .55 as MS has temporarily halted the update to it
current stable MS Edge downloads from the Edge business page (even the ones from MS Update Catalog except for the Edge runtime downloads) are 114.0.1823.51

Speaking of reverting to a previous version, anyone have a source for non-msi offline installers? I noticed when I tried to run an older msi it came up and disappeared as described. I should bookmark the edge installer tree I suppose. It still seems OK but I would like to get the installers just in case. I am running Windows 11 Home so I don't see the need for an msi envelope anyway.
