It started out as a solution to the Windows 11 secondary monitor bug where the Taskbar clock wouldn't display, but it now does a great job of adding a custom clock to the primary monitor, including the time with seconds.

Version 3.0.0 has just been released, but there are few minor cosmetic bugs with it, so it may pay to try the previous version 2.9.2 first until the version 3 bugs are ironed out.

ElevenClock v3.1.1 has fixed some bugs and is running well on my single monitor computer.
It's displaying time in seconds, the day of the week and date.

I can't install it for some reason, used to have it running and noticed it had gone so run the latest installer and i get a popup saying can't run this program type on my PC.

Did you download ElevenClock.Installer.exe ?
If so, try downloading it again. It might be corrupt.
It can also occur if you are trying to run a 64-bit file on a 32-bit operating system, but your specs say that yours is 64-bit.

Also, try unblocking it. Right click > Properties.

Yep it was the exe, re-downloaded it this morning and instead of double clicking the exe file i ran it from the download file prompt in firefox and it installed. Maybe windows ran into some bug after being on all day and the reboot cleared it. Its running again and my settings are still good.

The only problem that I've noticed is that my tooltip is blank.

Anybody notice when you pop up the start menu ElevenClock reverts to the built in windows clock while the start menu is up? It switches back to the ElevenClock when the menu goes back down but I'm not liking that it changes. Noticed it with ver 3.3 by the way.

Odd, not seeing that here. Does it still happen if you do the reload clocks from the context menu?

Perhaps "Hide when full screen app' may be a cause, here, as I explicitly have that disabled, so my clock shows through even when gaming at the bottom left on my screen.

Still happens with reload clock, hide when full screen app selected or not selected, and using a custom font or default font. Haven't played with it much beyond that but it always changes with the start menu up.

Its like when somebody says "Can you hear that car alarm". Once you hear it, the only way to stop hearing it is with a giant sledgehammer LOL.

Ah, now I see why. I never really thought how app works.

If I understand correctly, essentially app is displaying a complete new windows over the taskbar rather than modifying contents of displayed taskbar, hence normal clock os always there but hidden. So this issue is not a bug but an unavoidable imitation.

I never understood why MS stopped us displaying seconds anyway (only reason I use app).

Odd, after updating just now to 3.3.1 my clock on the main screen now disappears when I raise the start menu.

Guess my install is 'special'. lol.

(Special in that it took until this build before manifesting)

ElevenClock is the best Windows 11 taskbar clock enhancement that I know of.
And with the releases of ElevenClock v3.4.0.1, it is maturing nicely.

Changelog:
  • Fixed the clock overlaying the new taskbar's border (Windows 11 22581+)
  • Updated focus assistant icon (Windows 11 22581+)
    • The clock will show a different (filled) icon depending on the amount of unread notifications when focus assistant is enabled
  • Added titlebar and app icon on the settings window (Windows 11 22581+)
  • Removed some UI artifacts that appeared on hovering the clock
  • Added regional clocks to the tooltip (if they happen to be enabled)
  • Added the ability to disable/change the clock's clicked action
