Speaking for myself, I can't see subscribing to a program that offers a lifetime license for a reasonable one-time fee.

I might subscribe for a month or two. Just long enough to test all of the features before buying. With eM Client the free version convinced me.

No, but tbh I don't really use my phone for email.

I've had connection issues twice since switching to eM Client. Both times were due to the ISP's mail server not having a valid certificate. A chat with the ISP resolved things in quick order.

I just had problems with the beta android app, desktop is fine.

I still am on version 8.2.1721 with 2 pro licences, which is fully ok for me.

But seeing this topic, I was curious to find out what the prizes for upgrading were.
So I visited eM Client - Email Client and Calendar Software for Windows and Mac and the upgrade site @ emclient to see prizes.
I did not yet want to fill in my license numbers as I want to see prizes first.

But there I only see prizes in HK$, not in Euros as I did see in Jan. 2021 when I bought these 2 licenses...

"Upgrade your eM Client license to eM Client 9 (only HK$284.95)"

In some way the site of EMClient sees me as citizen of Honkong.
But I have a very normal NL IP-adress!
Of course I sent them a mail about this, but I am curious if others have the same problem, from USA or UK (or otherwise).

I indeed got an answer and managed to see the Dutch prizes.
It must be some silly bug on their site, while my IP-adress (which is from a very big dutch provider) is seen as from China/Hongkong.
I neither use VPN nor Proxy, just the direct IP adress as is shown as well at https://whatismyipaddress.com/ (and there they recognize and confirm the provider I have).

But the problem was solved by adding &countrycode=nl to every emclient adress.
Which can be done for any other country as well of course.
But it is a strange bug, never had it before at any site!
