Apps Enable or Disable Automatically Play Spotify when Starting Focus Session in Windows 11

This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off automatically play music from Spotify when starting a focus session for your account in Windows 11.

Focus is a Windows feature designed to help you stay on task by minimizing distractions. Whether you're working on an important project, studying for an exam, or simply need some uninterrupted time, Focus can help you maintain your concentration and productivity.

When you link your Spotify account to the Clock app, music will automatically play from Spotify when starting a focus sessions by default.

You can turn on or off Automatically start music when starting a focus session as wanted.

Here's How:

1 Open the Clock app.

2 Click/tap on Settings in the left pane of the Clock app. (see screenshots below)

3 Click/tap on Spotify in settings to expand it open.

4 Turn on (default) or off Automatically start music when starting a focus session for what you want.

Is is required to have Spotify turned on to change this setting.
