This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable the Efficiency mode confirmation dialog for your account in Windows 11.
Efficiency mode is helpful when you notice an app consuming high resources and would like to limit its consumption so that the system gives priority to other apps which will lead to faster foreground responsiveness and better energy efficiency.
When you turn on Efficiency mode for an app or process, you will be prompted by a confirmation dialog by default.
Starting with Windows 11 build 22621.1344, Microsoft is making it easy for you to apply Efficiency mode and offering the ability to opt-out of the confirmation dialog.

EXAMPLE: Efficiency mode confirmation dialog
1 While turning on Efficiency mode for an app or process, check Don't ask me again, and click/tap on OK. (see screenshot below)
1 Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc).
2 Click/tap on Settings on the bottom left side of Task Manager. (see screenshot below)
3 Under Other options, check (enable - default) or uncheck (disable) Ask me before applying Efficiency mode for what you want. (see screenshot below)
This setting is saved as the ShowEcoModeDialog value to the settings.json file in the %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\TaskManager folder.

4 You can now close Task Manager if you like.
