The Run dialog allows you to type the name of a command, program, folder, document, or internet resource to open or run in Windows.
Starting with Windows 11 build 26300.8346 (Experimental 25H2), Microsoft is rolling out a refreshed Run dialog experience designed to bring a more modern look and improved usability. This update introduces updated visuals and a cleaner interface, along with new controls that make it easier to manage the experience from within Settings. The refreshed Run dialog is currently available as an opt-in experience for Windows Insiders on the Experimental channel.

EXAMPLE: Classic and Modern Run dialog when pressing Win+R keys
1 Open Settings (Win+I).
2 Click/tap on System on the left side, and click/tap on Advanced on the right side. (see screenshot below)
3 Under Taskbar settings, turn On or Off (default) Run dialog for what you want. (see screenshot below)
4 You can now close Settings if you like.

"Run"=dword:000000004 Save the .reg file to your desktop.
5 If you have Smart App Control turned on, you will need to unblock the downloaded REG file.
6 Double click/tap on the downloaded .reg file to merge it.
7 When prompted, click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK to approve the merge.
8 You can now delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.
