Personalization Enable or Disable Share Any Window from Taskbar with Virtual Assistant in Windows 11

This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off "Share any window from my taskbar with virtual assistant" for your account in Windows 11.

Copilot Vision on Windows lets you share any browser or app window on your screen and talking about it with Copilot. Copilot can then help analyze, offer insights, or answer your questions, coaching you through it aloud. Copilot can hear your voice and respond like a friend in a conversation.

Starting with Windows 11 build 26100.7309 (24H2) and build 26200.7309 (25H2), you can now share an open app window with Copilot directly from the taskbar. When you hover over an open app icon on the taskbar, a thumbnail preview of the app window appears with a new Share with Copilot button beneath this preview. Selecting it allows Copilot Vision to scan, analyze, and offer insights on the content displayed by the app at that time.

Starting with Windows 11 build 2622.7670 (Beta) and build 26300.7674 (Dev), there's a hidden "Share any window from my taskbar with virtual assistant" toggle in taskbar settings. While this setting works, it is still not fully functional and may change before official release.

If you do not have this "Share any window from my taskbar with virtual assistant" setting yet in the Insider builds above and would like to try it now, then you can enable it using the ViVeTool command below.

vivetool.exe /enable /id:60063638
