Can anyone recall what the price of ESET Premium package was before they added the VPN to it? Did it go up?

Thanks for the reply. I was just wondering because after some research and asking I found out ESET Premium is using the free version of Windscribe VPN. So that makes me to believe ESET is charging their customers for the free version of VPN. I will have to do some more research for sure.

  • Data cap: typically 2–10 GB per month
  • Limited server locations
  • Restricted features compared with paid plans

By contrast, ESET’s VPN in its Premium/Ultimate subscription:


  • Does not impose those small data caps
  • Allows multiple devices
  • Is integrated into the ESET security suite
  • Is part of a paid subscription bundle

Thanks for the reply. So it is not actually the free basic version but a paid version of Windscribe integrated into ESET Premium. That sounds better for sure.

Eset has this info;

ESET HOME Security Ultimate: access to about 70–71 countries.

ESET HOME Security Premium: access to up to 40 countries.
