Solved Excel problem.

On my expenses/cost sheet one column of figures adds up at the bottom with the 'mark' (?) like a fence.....not numbers.
Only when I hold the mouse pointer on the box it actually shows the number.
All other rows/columns are OK.

Now resolved sorry couldn't delete post!!!!

Just for reference, this happens when the cell width is not enough to fit a long number. It usually shows ###### or other symbol. Just increase the cell width to fit.
