Windows 11
Hi, since the 2H22 update, my explorer keeps crashing anytime i try to open 'This PC' or File Explorer.
Nothing shows and then the screen just kind of blinks, then it takes my back to the desktop.
I did read there's an issue with Nvidia, which my laptop does have a Geforce card, but does it cause this issue?
I have run SFC / Scannow which didn't fix anything, and also my Geforce card and Experience app are fully up to date.
Regards
James

To add to what has already been suggested, open event viewer. In the Event Viewer window, press Windows Logs > Application in the left-hand menu. In the Application panel on the right, search for Event IDs with the value 1000. Event ID 1000 usually points to an error with the Windows Explorer process. Double click on a failure and it expands to give more information. Look at the details of the failures for a clue to what caused it to crash. You can post a screenshot of one of these events if you need help deciphering it.
