I have a Win 10 PC that I have connected to my laser engraver and I have noticed that when I prep the design files on my Win 11 machine and then take them to the Win 10 machine, some of the fonts used in the design don't seem to be on the Win 10 machine. Of course it depends on the fonts used. Some are available, some are not.

What I would like to do is to export the fonts from my Win 11 machine and put them onto the Win 10 machine, so that the fonts are the same on both machines. Is this possible? And if so, how would I do it? Maybe there is a tutorial somewhere, but a search of the forum came up empty.

If they're ttf, should be possible.
Copy them to thumbdrive and bring them to the W11 machine.

I don't know that Export is the right way but I have saved to a USB Thumb drive many many Fonts from various sources and versions of Windows, have over 50,000 on the drive now but probably lots of duplicates. If wanting to use one I go to Settings, Personalization, Fonts to install one or more. Check the C:\Windows\Fonts folder to copy from Win10.

As @Berton says, copy your Win 10 fonts Windows Eleven fonts to a usb from C:\Windows\Fonts.
Another method to install the fonts; whilst in Win 10, youshould” be able to select them all on the USB, right click and “install” from the right click context menu. Restart your laser engraver software.

Or, you can add fonts by simply dragging font files from the USB into the C:\Windows\Fonts folder. Windows should then automatically install them. You could test with one font if you like. But the right click method works just fine.

We’re talking Windows 10 here. I don’t doubt there is a custom fonts folder, but I have never coppied fonts there or seen any in there, I use 100’s due to design. Once I copy a font over, I leave it there.

As Microsoft states
All fonts are stored in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder. Optionally, you can add fonts by simply dragging font files from the extracted files folder into this folder. Windows will then automatically install them.

And as much as I generally use Fontlister, I still occasionally right click and install. They show up fine.
Maybe others have experienced differently.
