Hi,

Which would you expert members recommend for my Dell 5510 laptop?

I don't want a BT one.

Should I get a keyboard too.......but that would take away the screen farther??

Thanks.

I have a basic logitech BT mouse and it's as responsive as I'd want it. Everything external mouse wise can either be changed in settings or Logi's own software

Pluses and minuses.

+ A BT mouse does not take a USB port
+ A BT mouse will work on different devices without moving the UR.

- A BT dongle does not work in WinPE Mode for apps like Macrium Reflect.
- BT can be a bit finicky and sometimes you need to re-pair if swapping devices. Granted, you have to move UR but that is easy.

I use Winpe a lot, and so I prefer the UR mouse personally, but I tend to use a BT mouse for my travel laptop, as easier to lose UR device (most have a compartment in battery section though to hold UR).

Many mouses (mice?) are dual UR/BT compatible these days. I only buy them now, so if UR gets mislaid, I can revert to BT.

Just look on Amazon - zillions ranging from a few pounds. I usually buy cheap unbranded as I am not a gamer.

For heavy gaming, you probably need a good brand like logitech as others say.

For daily browsing etc a BT mouse will be fine. I wouldn't touch one for game related things, Wires ftw :D
As for Logitech, Best budget brand ever , My steering wheel has been great, I also used to use the cheap 12quid keyboards that lasted forever. Unfortunately they're higher end mouses were nowhere near what i expected and haven't touched em since
