I've been looking for the best 24" Eye Care monitor I can find. I find mixed reviews on the Web and Amazon. I work on my computer for about 10 hours as day, so this is important to me. Currently, I have blue light blocking glasses and use Windows 11 Night Light set to 40.

Any suggestions on a great eye care monitor?

There are different reasons to care for eyes. Either vision is impaired long/short sighted, or eye strain is accompanied by headaches. If your eyesight is impaired then I would aim for a larger monitor in region of 25" to 27". Otherwise, if you suffer from eye strain and headaches, then some form of Blue light reduction may well help out - either use blue light blocking glasses or a monitor with built-in blue light reduction. But if you are using blue light blocking glasses already, then such a feature on a monitor might be a bit redundant. I cannot recommend specific makes/models, no.

Thanks, @iko22! I have great vision (20/15), so that's not an issue. It's more eye fatigue from what I suspected is the monitor blue light because I rest my eyes every 50 minutes for 5-10 minutes to mitigate reading fatigue. My current monitor has 144Hz refresh rate and is good. It's not designed for blue light filtering, however. Though I have blue light blocking glasses, I figure the redundancy can't hurt in this case. I've read reviews online and on Amazon, but you know how those are. I am specifically looking for a 24" monitor due to space considerations. Many of the reviews are for larger monitors. I'm not concerned about the cost. I'm concerned about my eyes, so price is not really a worry.

I'll see what others say.

I bought a pair of blue light blocking glasses from Walmart yesterday. I've been getting a lot of blurred vision because of the eye strain from looking at my monitors for hours at a time. I wear glasses so I have to wear them over top of my prescription glasses. I have to get use to wearing them so it's to early to tell if they help or not.

stare at something at a distance to relax your eye muscles.

the only time i get an eye-strain is mostly due to the glare or when i sit in an awkward position which puts alot of stress in my eyes. one time my eyes were so strained i had double-vision for a week! :ROFLMAO:

Thanks vannn. I do that already. Maybe age is just catching up with me. A slightly larger monitor with better color and an ever better refresh rate (if my VC will handle it) might help as well. Pluse the monitor's blue light filter can't hurt.

I called my optometrist yesterday morning about this issue. Despite my excellent vision, he recommended I get some cheap, low-magnification readers from the drugstore. So, I did that yesterday. So far, so good. I'm still keeping the monitor! :ROFLMAO:
