Here’s another of those “impossible to answer” quiz qestions. What do all of these people have in common (besides the fact that they’re all well–known)?

Being a Brit, I have never heard of half the names but for those I knew, the stage name was different to real name albeit in at least one case stage christian name was one of persons intermediate names.

However that seems to easy an answer as the above is true for many actors.

Yep, that was my answer. Mind you, I kinda "cheated" a bit - when I started Googling some of the names I Love Lucy kept appearing as something in common. I actually ended Googling all the names as in a "Name + I Love Lucy" search.

Yes, you got it. The IMDB's cast list for "I Love Lucy" has over 400 names, and I just picked out the ones that would be recognized but not too obvious.

When I read a threads I usually reply to post as I read them. Especially with threads like this because I don't want to know the answer until I give my answer. I'd rather give my answer and be wrong instead of knowing the answer before I post my answer. Besides that, If it wasn't for David Stollery my answer would have also been correct. He is the only name I didn't know and didn't want to cheat by doing a search first.

No, that's not it, but keep trying -- and kudos for your honesty. Many people would just do a search and not even think it was cheating! :)

Over the years, I've posted (here and elsewhere) many questions of the form "What do these people have in common" and in many cases people thought the answer was "they're all deceased" because that just happened to be true. But the answers I had in mind were more specific things about the particular people on those lists. In this case, both my lists have to do with TV and/or movie appearances.

With that in mind, everybody try the second list: George Washington, Paul Revere, Robert Fulton, Ed Sullivan, Walter Winchell, and Franz Schubert. It's about screen appearances. It's only fair to tell you that this is "extremely trivial trivia" and nobody could guess the answer unless they just happen to know it.
