I see it when I change the name, and no I do not believe it's a bug.Sometimes by changing the name of a bookmark (favourite), the favicon will miss! Does anybody have such a problem, or is this a bug?
I thought Edge had a conflict with RTL languages (like its/Adobe PDF engine)! I was glad the day Edge changed its PDF engine to Adobe. I thought RTL languages would be supported (right alignment), but it got worse! Microsoft doesn't care about RTL languagesI see it when I change the name, and no I do not believe it's a bug.
Why does this happen for some URLs?What's happening is once you change the name you destroy the link's ability to phone home to create the favicon.
Many thanks.Btw; Nice presentation!

My last two reply's were based on logic, butSometimes by changing the name of a bookmark (favourite), the favicon will miss!
My brain tells me something is wrong there! I can't see an ugly "New File" outline iconWhen I run into this situation I just accept it and move on, as it might get fixed down the road. Why get stressed over something so trivial?
Yes! I forgot to mention they return if you reload the page (after renaming). Of course, you have to be connected. The problem is I edit the URL names after disconnecting! I think it's something about Edge cache. Many of the favicons will return, it just takes time. Have you connected to those sites?
Thanks. Complicated discussion there (for me).My last two reply's were based on logic, butmostsome? of the time my logic can run askew and this was buggin' me. There is a better answer and it has to do with the edge cache: Favicon NOT working on Edge | Stackoverflow
