File Explorer stops registering clicks, W11 context menu issues

I have a strong feeling both of these issues were do the the explorer extension that comes with Notepad++.

It is not something that shows up in the nirsoft tools, so I never tried to disable it. It is also one of the very first things I install on my PCs.

Even after uninstalling it, it still seems to be in the explorer menu, even though it no longer links to anywhere. There is an option to not install the explorer extension though.

I had to actually unregister it's Nppshell.dll with regsvr32 to remove it. Everything has been working fine since then, at least for now...

Hallo,
" I had to actually unregister it's Nppshell.dll with regsvr32 to remove it. Everything has been working fine since then, at least for now...".
An interesting aspect, I'll test that on a 24h2,
I have yersterday installed as an Inplace Upgrade the 25H2 from
Windows 11 25H2 26200 ISO / ESD (deutsch, english), the Pro 26200.5733, very good, now it was shown the
Windows 11 25 H2 Pro and not the Insider Preview, ;-):-)

PS:
i have a 24H2 26100.4770, here are not Problems with the Explorer, Maybe the update has been fixed, but the 25h2 is better for me.

unregister the Nppshell.dll, or better unnstall Notepad++ solve the Problem for me too.
Fine :-):-)
