Solved First message today "Please enter setup to recover BIOS Setting"

25H2 26200.7705 just updated to this version. Went down hill since. Looked at BIOS settings as first instructed, everything seemed "normal". Restarted and ended up with a follow up message "Something happened and PIN isn't available, click to setup your pin again" All this in about 5 minutes. Set up pin was non responsive ? Rebooted and got same bios message, after staring for a while, noticed that it is 2019. New CR2032 installed, reboot, now back to 2026. Second message continues about missing pin.?? I am able now to sign in with pass word. Appreciate getting this machine back to start up using pin.

Got my ability to sign in with my pin again. Spent several days trying various things and in the end, in spite of looking disaster in the face, erased my current pin without knowing what it was and made a new pin and now for the time being, it is working. Thanks to antspants for those links and to BRINK for writing those tutorials. Now considering this closed.
