Formatting drive does not show "formatting %"

After configuring the options for the drive and the formatting (full format) should have started there isn't any percentage formatting for the drive. Is the drive being formatted or something is wrong?

Just as easy to Right Click on the D drive in Windows File Explorer and select “Format”
A message will pop up when formatting is complete.

According to that screenshot there is no format in progress. That partition appears to be ready for use (done being formatted). Are you sure that you picked full format and not a quick format? If you did, why would you do that rather than a quick format? I don't think I have done a full format in a few years.
