You'll notice, though, that both of those were literally a day a part, and it was the day of (and subsequently the day after) the official release of Windows 10.

Windows 10 was much less hated upon release than Windows 11, because the restrictions that were supposed to be there were not. Windows 11, OTOH, has caused many more people issues, including, but not restricted to, gamers, so its uptake has been a lot slower.

Still, though, it is a stark contrast.
