Does anyone know where i can find out why my sent mail ends up in trash not in the sent area?

Hey T2T, do you use gmail on the web or do you use Outlook New or some other email app to handle your email? If you use an app, please state WHAT app.

Just DESKTOP search Gmail to login no app have App on phone same problem sent goes to trash

Go into your gmail. Click gear icon to get into settings. Select 'show all settings'
Look under both labels and filters to see if something is rerouting sent mail to trash.
Also, is this all of your sent mail, or just some of it. If only some, you're not per chance responding to any of your emails in your junk folder, are you?
