Does anyone know where i can find out why my sent mail ends up in trash not in the sent area?

Just DESKTOP search Gmail to login no app have App on phone same problem sent goes to trash

Go into your gmail. Click gear icon to get into settings. Select 'show all settings'
Look under both labels and filters to see if something is rerouting sent mail to trash.
Also, is this all of your sent mail, or just some of it. If only some, you're not per chance responding to any of your emails in your junk folder, are you?

I Sent one and watch it come to sent then disappear and go to trash

I still think it has to do with some filter you have set. Login to gmail on the web. Gear icon>see all settings>filters and blocked addresses (on the toolbar)
You will see a list of filters you have set. If you visually can't determine which filter is causing the problemt, make note of the filters you have set,, then delete them all. Send an email, If it works right you know it was a filter. You can then recreate the filters a couple at a time, checking the issue each time. Eventually you should narrow it down to the bad filter.
