I do not know of any that have a far higher spec for half the price - Pixels are expensive c. £1K. I would not touch brands like HUAWEI.

There are good Samsungs much cheaper but they do not have the full capability of the flagship ranges. OK AI is overrated but some features like audio eraser are really good. I really like the photo erase function for example.

By all means show me a comparable quality phone with similar range of features at half the price.

OK, but personally I would not touch Xiaomi with a barge pole.

These models do not have e-sims. It is unclear extent of major updates one would get. The S25 is guaranteed 7 years (earlier models only had 4 years).

Also, I like the Samsung smart tag 2 system. I recently went away and could not find my wallet. A quick check and it was detected as still being at home i.e. I forgot to take it rather than lost it.

Transferring apps/settings from one samsung to another is a cinch using smartswitch, plus its backup is virtually like a pc image backup. Fasr better than google backup. You can backup to a pc for convenience.

With the discount, the S25 FE is £479 before additional "freebies". I would have bought all the freebies as I wanted galaxy earbuds plus magsafe accessories.

Unless the Xiaomi's get discounted £349 is not a bad price but certainly not half price (compared with £479 excluding freebie benefit).

Of course, everbody is entitled to their opinion, although I disagree with yours.

Scares concerning security with Chinese smartphones is rampant....In the next 2 years or so Chinese vehicles will take over the majority of sales in the UK because of price and specification as will smartphones.
