I just noticed this GoogleUserPEH folder in Task Scheduler. It's empty.



Does anyone else have it?

was either from Chrome in relation to update service, or Google Credential Provider

Since it's an empty folder, you can simply delete it. I'm sure it might re-create itself again though. Nothing to worry about.

I use Google Chrome.
I just looked in my Task Scheduler, and see the same thing there.
Since I see it as empty, and I read up on what it is online, I don't bother with it. If I delete it, I'm assuming it will come back over time as well.

Are you folks running Task Scheduler as administrator? I mention that because you may see different tasks, or an empty list, depending on whether you run it as admin. For example, the \Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate folder has some hidden tasks if you're not an admin.

I ran it as an Administrator. It doesn't show anything there.
