Solved Graphics Driver wont update

Ever since i bought my PC (Specs up to date on forum section) i have never been able to update my graphics card even though there have been updates from the manufacturer. When i try installing through the Lenovo update software or their website it says install successful but the driver is never updated.

When i try downloading the files and manually installing i get a message that Window says the best version is already installed. I tried disabling driver updates through windows update but i still get the same message. My driver version is stuck to 27 while 30 is out.

Is there a reason this is happening? I haven't been having any issues with my current driver but why wouldn't i be able to update to a newer version that is also recommended from my PC manufacturer.

Is that Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 you are talking about?
This is probably an OEM driver bespoke to your specific model and that's that.
As long as your PC works fine, no worries.

You can download the ZIP file and extract all contents to a folder. Then load Device Manager, open Display Adapters, right-click on the graphics card and select to update the driver. Go to the second option and then again to the second option. Click on the Have disk button and browse to the folder where you have extracted the driver. Look for the display folder and open any .INF file you find. You may have to open some subfolder to find it. You should see a list of graphics adapters. Select the first on the list and proceed. This will force the new driver. If you see a warning proceed anyway. To make sure Windows Update won't try to replace your drivers use Windows Update Show Hide Tool to hide (block) the respective updates.
