look at my post above. Look at the gif, thats what they told them to do.
ADW cleaner will do nothing here. The tech told them this because its not a malware dialog box. It is a browser notification coming from windows. While opening the link/notification can lead to an infected website, disabling the notifications will not. This is also why when the user ran malwarebytes it found nothing, because there is nothing to find.
