Ok so, I recently enabled permission on my hard drive for everyone and all my files corrupted including pictures, games, browsers. I have done tried everything such as, changing permissions back, icacls, system restore, secedit, and sfc. I really do not want to reset so please help. If you need any more info please ask. The issues I am having is, cannot screenshot, not access any picture, access limited files, only discord, edge, antivirus (Malwarebytes), sportify, CMD, settings, file explorer, and run. cannot access C drive and when I click the windows/windows start key nothing happens my screen blinks that's it. I press "search" on the bottom nothing happens.

Permissions are regarded as metadata and don't directly affect the actual data. Have you tried running chkdsk or sfc on the impacted drive?

As I said, I ran sfc. let me run chkdsk
