I have hearing loss in one ear and need to listen to headphones in mono. I want my normal sound through my speakers in stereo as this doesn't cause a problem. I know there is the mono audio setting in the Windows sound settings... however, it doesn't let you set this per device, that I can see. Is there any way to have the mono sound in my headphones only so I don't have to keep manually switching the settings? Thanks for the help with this.

Do yourself a favour and install Voicemeeter VB-Audio VoiceMeeter

If you possess multiple audio devices that require control, pick the suitable option (Banana/Potato)… Each device permits changes to mono settings.

Well the simplest way is to buy a 3.5mm stereo to mono adaptor assuming you are connecting by a 3.5mm jack.

It's often wireless, but thanks for the tip.

The VoiceMeeter seems nice, but probably massive overkill for what I need to do.
