Does it support cloning a bootable drive to a new SSD?

Just for information, Rescuezilla has been mentioned and discussed here: RESCUEZILLA is operating system agnostic. Looks interesting. Thread starter Ghot.

Rescuezilla looks interesting. I like trying different system image applications. I haven't yet tried this one.

Used to recommend it (more than once) - but Windows users seem scared of apps - which are not made for the Windows environment (to be used within Windows). So i stopped recommending it - since this days there's tons of free back-up apps - made exactly for the average Windows user. Such as, even a recent addition: MultiDrive - Free Disk Cloning, Backup, Erasing Software

To me, personally - an app like Rescuezilla actually makes more sense - working independent of the OS it tries to back-up (so there's no active app or security feature that can interfere with the back-up process). Reminds me of - Norton Ghost. :)

Any backup software with bootable media can do that as well; like Macrium and Hasleo.

there are two similar software programs
rescuezilla

and clonezilla

both tools based on Linux that work very well.
i also have a Linux live distro on bootable USB handy
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS which can work wonders in rescuing a Windows system.
