Higher configuration offerings available in Windows 365

  • Staff
The Windows 365 team has been making great strides in supporting higher configuration offerings to better support organizations that have applications with greater spec requirements. We have also been working to bridge the gap in core, memory, and storage options, particularly for those transitioning from other cloud platforms or physical devices. We are happy to announce that two new 16 vCPU offerings are now generally available in Windows 365.

Both offerings are now available in the following Windows 365 editions:
  • Windows 365 Enterprise
  • Windows 365 Business
  • Windows 365 Business with Hybrid Benefit
  • Windows 365 Government
  • Windows 365 Frontline
These 16 vCPU licenses can be purchased and assigned in the same way you purchase and assign other Windows 365 licenses today.

In addition to the introduction of the new 16 vCPU offerings, we are pleased to share that more information will be available soon regarding GPU offerings. Stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks. We will add these GPU-enabled offerings to meet the needs of organizations who have intensive graphic design, image and video rendering, 3D modeling, and data processing or visualization workloads. Offering GPU-enabled Cloud PCs delivers one of the top requested features to those looking for simplified management and access to a GPU in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering.

Both the Windows 365 16 vCPU offerings and Windows 365 GPU offerings are exciting extensions of our current Windows 365 offerings. To learn more, join us at Microsoft Ignite on November 15-16, and RSVP for the Microsoft Technical Takeoff.
