There's a QVL (qualified vendors list) for the board, and your "Matisse" CPU.

The fastest RAM is an 8GB DIMM at 5200MHz. It's tested for 2 DIMMs (16GB). I wouldn't count on 4 DIMMs running at that frequency. The fastest 16GB modules are at 4000MHz. Both are Ballistix. Neither may be listed at Amazon.

What size DIMMs do you want?

Maybe a more modest clock (like 3600MHz) with a low latency might be better, if you're a gamer. Gskill I'd pick a specific one, but the Amazon search engine makes that a little time-consuming. Gskill makes their own support list, but it has failed me in the past.

You can check on the g.skil line, they are very good and come in a number of speeds.
But as mentions, depending on the motherboard RAM topology, 2 dimm are usually better than 4, and dual rank better than single.

They have AMD RAM line that are optimaized for AMD processors. They have a RAM configurator you can type in MB and CPU models and will give you a list of compatible RAM:

Not sure what you mean by the most powerful. Do you want fastest speed, highest capacity, lowest latency, etc.

I can't even see the point of faster Ram let alone the expense! Some tests on differences between fastest and stock speeds conducted a few years ago concluded that almost no real gain.

Yeah, only in very specific controlled situations could you even quantify a gain. I know many will do it just to see a higher benchmark score and feel that it's somehow really improved the overall speed of their computer since the benchmark is higher, but that's not usually a true statement or not true enough that you could ever prove it with a stopwatch.
