Solved Help needed re reinstall W 11

Well, I think we now have the problem solved !! When I was previously trying to amend the boot order I was scrolling down to USB, pressing F10 and then trying to boot. This was clearly not working. So I then used the arrows to move the highlighted USB option physically up to the top of the menu, saved changes and then rebooted. And it then booted into the recovery mode on the USB. (The USB had the ISO version on it). Tomorrow I will try my other previously made recovery USBs (like Aomei) and see if they work. Fingers crossed that maybe the simple omission I was making setting the boot order was what stopped it booting.

I will report back here when I've tried it a few more times. Thanks for all the advice so far.

please remember when you either repair or clean install Windows
to enter the BIOS after at the first restart and change the boot menu order
so the HDD/SSD drive you have installed Windows on is set to first in the boot menu.

This is "Windows Boot Loader" in UEFI mode, not the name of the disk as in Legacy mode.

Yes, I can boot up with F9.
Re the above two posts as you can gather I am not really an IT techie !! As I have said the PC now boots up normally into my screen. Also, the bootable USB i made also boots up OK. Above post suggests changes?? I attach screenshots of how the boot up screens look now so is there anything that needs further changes or can I now keep things as they are as all seems to be working ok.

This screen is the boot menu, also known as a one-time boot menu. When the Windows 11 installation USB stick is inserted into a USB port and the computer is started using the F9 key, it will appear in this menu, allowing you to boot from the USB stick even if it is not configured as the first boot device in the UEFI/BIOS settings.

You mentioned earlier that you changed the boot order of the drives in the UEFI/BIOS settings. You should restore the original settings, because the Windows 11 USB stick can be booted from the one-time boot menu.

In most cases, on UEFI/GPT systems, no boot order changes are required, because Windows boots via a Windows Boot Manager entry stored in UEFI NVRAM. Boot order changes may be necessary only if multiple Windows Boot Manager entries are present.
