How can I remove Bitdefender from the initial right-click menu

I installed Bitdefender because I wanted a little more granular control over antivirus activities than Microsoft Defender. It installed itself in the main right-click menu, where it slows down the display of that menu by several seconds. So far, every post I've read talks about how to add or remove entries from the Show More Options menu or tells me to get rid of the main right-click menu, neither of which I want to do. The Powertoys and Edit with Notepad++ right-click entries I added don't have this annoying effect.

How can I remove Bitdefender from the initial right-click menu and still leave it on the Show More Options menu?

I was just having a look at your link. I didn’t realise this could remove entries, but apparently it can. I have looked at it in the past and failed to notice the “ContextMenu Cleaner”

How to Clean the Right Click Menu

The context menu is often abused by software vendors who add useless entries without asking permission. You can use ECM’s new context menu cleaner feature to remove all unwanted entries.
Just select an unwanted entry and click the Delete button to remove it from your context menu. It’s that simple.

I did try that, and just now looked to see if there's been an update since the version I used. I didn't see anything there that looked like it was coming from Bitdefender. I think adding or deleting items from the initial right-click menu must happen in a different way from how it happens in the Win10 menu. I know I had to jump through several hoops I no longer remember to add "Edit in Notepad++" to that menu (and that didn't cause the delay-while-I-paint-the-menu behavior Bitdefender does). Still, if there's a way it hooks into the menu, there should be a way to unhook it.

I would try removing (one at a time) anything that isn’t recognisable in the ContextMenu Cleaner. Not all context menu items may be named accordingly, perhaps? Like Bitdefender could be known as bloodyannoyingentry in the ContextMenu Cleaner.
You can always just enable the entry again if it doesn’t yield the desired result?

I’ll be honest, I haven’t used it or currently have time to, also, I don’t use Bitdefender, so I am just reaching here.

I'd already tried turning off animations, and that made no difference. Using the shexview tools disabled the Bitdefender menu item in the "Show More Options" menu (where it is not a problem) but not in the initial right-click menu (where it is).

Programs apparently have to hook into the initial right-click menu in some manner that the Win7-Win10 tools don't account for, much like older uninstall programs don't know about modern Windows apps.
