How do I change the font size? I dont want to use the font size changer

I am using the "Advanced System Font Changer v1.2.0.37" since 2019.
It has a very simple user interface and just changes values in the registry that @dacrone has written about.
There is a modern version for that tool, but I don't like it.
The old version 1.2.0.37 can be downloaded here.
After downloading check the downloaded file for this MD5: c117163c397d262a27f9c31fb6f64d1c
That is exactly the same as the one I always use (just checked it again).

I've had a problem for years with Apple TV's absurdly tiny closed caption font. In Settings, in the Closed Captioning tab, I made four changes: Extra Large Text, set Opacity to 100%, changed the font to San Francisco and finally, I toggled off video overriding the style.
Now its much easier to read dialogue without eye strain.
