How do I get Windows 11 to show photo of my STL files

I am running Windows 11 Ver 22H2 OS build 22621.1105. How do i get Windows 11 to show the photo of my STL files? When I access these files from Vectric Desktop all that shows up is the colored icon which does not help me at all. If I click on the icon it says no preview available. I am not liking Windows 11, but I am past to 10 day remove time limit.

If not go to the store and install it.

I don't have Print 3D installed.

If I get 3D Viewer from the MS Store (form Microsoft, free), I get the thumbnail, but only after a reboot.

Oh, that is weird. My 2 W11 PCs have it installed and I did not install it myself. I just found out about it when I saw this post.

Maybe I deleted it. I don't have a lot of use for STL files at the moment.

(I used them while I was still in the workforce to pass information from optical design software to mechanical CAD types.)
