I have 2 PC's with newest version of Windows 11, both are set to never sleep, but screen shuts off after 30 minutes..
Here is the issue 1 PC will open to Desktop directly - then other will open to lock screen > Sign in > Desktop

I want to open directly to Desktop - problems is, I do not know how to get this PC to act like the other one.. Any Ideas, as to what to try?

Just to confirm, is this an administrator account with a password?

The If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again? setting is only available if your account has a password.

OS was setup using Local Account Only (start ms-cxh:localonly)

No password would explain why the setting is missing.

The REG file in option 2 only works if your device supports Modern Standby.

Did you try the Disable_require_password_on_wakeup REG in option 6?

just set screensaver to Blank and 1 minute and on resume, display logon screen to test it...
