Solved how do I show all available wifi networks in my pc . How do i make it automatic to connect to the other if one goes out.

Hi how do i can view all my wifi networks in the system tray , if i click the wifi icon. It is not showing all the wifi networks but only connected network. Moreover, how do i make it that if one wifi connection goes out, the other automatically establish the connection to get me continuous netwrok. is it possible

Are you referring to e.x. 3G 4G 5G etc?
WiFi networks generally show by availability, if you aren’t in range of your router, perhaps the WiFi network isn’t available.
Also, they all need to be (generally 4 & 5G networks) turned on or made available in your router. Apparently, some routers only allow one, but I haven’t come across any that do this.

It would help to know the exact brand and model number of your router.

Are you clicking on the > to the right of the wifi symbol?

It make take a few seconds before the list populates. Tick the 'connect automatically box for all the wifi's you want to use.

If one drops out, another will connect.

And do be sure the available connections are Open, do not have a lock symbol/overlay on their icon. I have 16 showing in my area with that lock symbol but can't access any but my own as I don't have their passwords.

Surely, the opposite is true. It's not a good idea to use wifi networks with no security! I have all my networks showing the padlock, as they are secured by WPA-2.

Hi, Kelper, I do not have a arrow signal next to wifi in my windows 11. I have to go settings , click network, and then show available networks. Please say why the arrow marks are not showing . how do i have those arrow next to all icons in system tray

What do you see in Show Available Networks?
Is there only one WiFi network?

Some how I could see the available networks , by running this script. This saved me.
the script is
REG DELETE "HKCU\Control Panel\Quick Actions" /F
taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
start explorer.exe
This only saved me by showing available networks.

Kelper, clicking the same before running the script, has not shown anything other than volume Icon. Thank you.
Moreover, if you use wifi networks, the safe mode with networking options in msconfig never works and it shows no network menu and pops up error that this name of the network is not found error. If, i have used ethernet, then it would have worked correctly . this is a tip, I learnt to use ethernet mode in windows 11, as getting to safe mode by F8 do not work . Probably the, safe mode with network does not load drivers for wifi or something, which needs further
investigation

Is this what you saw when you clicked on the wifi icon in the system tray?

If yes, you could probably have fixed it by clicking on the edit button (arrowed).

Then click on '+ Add' then 1720952189824.png and then 'Done'

I have tried but no menu comes to select wifi. Then I asked copilot, and it gives the idea of resetting the quick settings. It also provided the script. I executed and then when i click the wifi, it showed all the things.

No need for you to investigate. I found out years ago that it's the motherboard's BIOS that prevents the WiFi drivers from loading.
