For example with RDR2 I have the game settings saved to fullscreen, but sometimes (maybe because of its launcher) this setting changes to windowed, is there a way to force an .exe (for the game) to stay in fullscreen?

Check the "settings" for things like that...

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?

Yes it's already set and saved to fullscreen.

Sometimes when I boot up the game and check the settings notice it has changed to windowed, so I change it back to fullscreen and apply, then after a boot up or two it changes again to windowed and so on.

I also play Battlefield 1, it's set to fullscreen and it never changes to windowed no matter what, not by itself like with RDR2 and not even when I press the Windows key.
