how do I use microsoft speech platform sdk for change of voices like teddy

Hi, downloaded the sdk file . But do not know how to proceed.
I want to read the text by different voices as available in the sdk.
I have downloaded the sdk file, but do not know how to proceed step by step.
first of all, where do I find the exe file to see the menus to perform.
do I need to be a programmer to use this
is there a simple way of doing this
is there any inbuilt software available in tts.
will my sound system, like browsing and hearing be affected if i try
please give

This is a forum participated by casual users (some of whom actually even have lives outside the computer and the internet ... although these are very few and far between ) and who contribute their expertise and experience on a voluntary basis, as/if/when available. It is not necessarily the "Help Desk" for particular software, including Microsoft/Windows.

The more obscure the software and its usage will result in longer for a response (if any) until such time as someone familiar with the software, logs on to the forum.

Patience is a virtue

If you have downloaded an SDK, that is a development environment/set of tools to MAKE the executable. I doubt that you can execute anything natively from the SDK without compiling the code in the SDK with the settings and parameters that you want.

In short, to use an SDK, you usually have to have some programming skill or resources to accomplish what you want to.

If you are just looking to change your voice in the computer, have you looked at Screaming Bee software? They already do what you want, it seems, and it is much easier to work with than an SDK.

Hi, catnip, could you suggest a free software. the screambee works but available only for 4days.

Please state what you want to achieve.
