How to change spelling checker language to English?

I suppose the spelling checker language is set to another language. How do I change it to English?

Is this in your internet browser? Depends on browser you use.
In Firefox, go to Settings, scroll down to display and language, and check the box to check spelling. Under advanced, you can select Languages to check.
